As I mentioned on a previous post I have been taking time on this travel trip to learn more about video. This week I updated my Canon to Magic Lantern which enables me to do many things that the standard options within the normal Canon Firmware doesn't allow us to do. So, after several long winded Youtube Video's and reading and re-reading the website I set out to try and Time Lapse. It's pretty basic, but now I have the hang of it, I have several ideas on how to use it, so watch this space!!
Magic Lantern itself is a stunning addition to my camera, I know I have a few people that have been asking me if it is worth it, the risk involved etc. And all I can say is "do it". It is perfectly safe, it stays on your memory card and it's chock full of unbelievable goodies. Just follow the instructions step by step and you will be fine. If you have any further questions about it send me a message/comment/tweet and I will try and help or link to a superb site or two that can.
On a side note I must add thanks to the guy who was also doing a Time Lapse next to me at the Ferry Building, he gave me a super idea and also a "hello" to the guy that came up and asked me to help him with his video..... using, as it turned out Magic Lantern, which I had only learnt the day before!!
