Many many years ago i had a play with a Tilt Shift lens but had, at that time no reason at all to get one. I wont bog you down with the details of what/how it works but essentially it allows the photographer to control the appearance of perspective in the image by two little dials (see pic below).
In the last couple of years i feel my image quality has improved and particularly my style and with that i want to keep pushing onwards and upwards, ideally working more on architectural projects. This year i've added a few new tricks to my kit bag with a couple more to arrive shortly of which i will blog about when they arrive (and i've perfected what i'm setting out to achieve!) but today my 24mm Tilt Shift arrived. Below are the two test shots from about an hour after it arrived................ i already love it.
